Readings

Books that I think are quite useful for those interested in the field of fitness:

  • Willam D Bandy's Therapeutic Exercise: Techniques for Intervention - Focuses on the implementation of treatment plans and intervention using appropriate therapeutic exercise techniques.
  • David Lightsey's Muscles, Speed, & Lies - An overview of sports supplementation. What the industry doesn't want you to know about their drugs.
  • Baechle's Essentials of Strength and Conditioning Training - The NSCA's CSCS Certification textbook.
  • Arnold Schwarzenegger's The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding - A good source of weight training exercises. Not the bible it claims to be, but useful nonetheless.
  • Tom Rath's Strength Finder 2.0 - Discover your Top 5 Strengths and how to implement them into your professional development
  • David Deida's The Way of the Superior Man - A good read for men or women. May help you learn how to devote yourself to your purpose.
  • Loren Cordain's The Paleo Diet - An insight to eating the foods that our ancient ancestors once used to survive. May convince you to alter your diet.
